There is no set period recommended by Toyota for body lubrication. However, it is a good idea to lubricate the following body points at least once a year, especially in the fall before cold weather.
Lubricate with engine oil:
Door lock latches
Door lock rollers
Door, hood and hinge pivots Lubricate with Lubriplate:
Trunk lid latch and hinge
Glove box door latch
Front seat slides Lubricate with silicone spray:
All rubber weather stripping
Hood stops
When finished lubricating a body part, be sure that all the excess lubricant has been wiped off, especially in the areas of the car which may come in contact with clothing.
